Dear lybrateuser, - Give rest to the affected area as exercising can aggravate the pain - do hot fomentation of the area twice a day - apply pain relief gel three times a day - take pain relief tablet after meals if pain is more - do x-ray of the area to rule out any other problem - also consult a physical therapist for proper management of the problem.
