Hi my son is 4 months old and since birth he is having formula as well as breast milk but since 2 weeks he has stopped latching so I am pumping out my breast milk and I can only give him 5 oz per day. I want to ask whether it's enough I mean at least he is getting some antibodies from me please tell it's fine for him because I am getting into depression thinking about it whole day. Pls help.

You must give exclusive breastfeeding up to 6 months of age. U have enough milk. There must be some reason for not latching, probably it may be due to improper posture to feed. If it is not so, it is advisable to consult pediatrician.

Why has your son stopped latching? It could be because you must be giving formula feed by bottle. If you give formula feed by cup and spoon ,he may latch at your breast.
