Foods rich in folic acid are green leafy veggies like spinach, broccoli,peas, okra,asparagus, beans,seeds of pumpkin, flax seeds, almonds,citrus fruits. Etc.we suggest preconceptional folic acid at least for 2-3 months. Its deficiency may result in neural tube defects in baby.
