I had an excellent experience in my visit to Dr Bharat shah. The doctor is very learned and experienced with very good command on his subject. Additionally he is very compassionate towards his patient, gives adequate time to hear patient's problems and is ready to interact and doesn't try to rush through the consultation inspite of being very busy. On top of this he is not a commercialised type and prescribed minimum of investigations and drugs. Over all it was a very satisfying experience.

You can continue gym. You should drink plenty of water - 3 to 4 litres a day. Also see a kidney doctor to get evaluated for kidney stones.

If his kidney failure is permanent, he will need regular dialysis. If his kidney failure is temporary, he will be able to come off dialysis. Discuss with the kidney doctor who is seeing your father whether the kidney failure is acute or chronic.

Yes. Drinking water reduces the risk of kidney stones. Not sure if adding lemon helps. City water is fine if boiled and cooled.
