Do not use Granitero 3Mg Injection if you are allergic to it or if you are taking apomorphine. Some medical conditions that may interfere with the action of this medicine are heart problems, blood electrolyte problems, an abnormal electrocardiogram and stomach or bowel problems.
Common side effects of this medicine are anxiety, constipation, trouble sleeping, diarrhoea, headache, dizziness, drowsiness, nausea, vomiting and weakness. Some serious side effects include severe allergic reactions, fast or irregular heartbeat, chest pain, fainting, fever, chills, stomach pain or swelling, sore throat, severe or persistent skin irritation and unusual muscle movement.
This drug is taken orally before 24 hours of a surgery or chemotherapy. It can also be taken into a vein as directed by your doctor, usually 30 minutes before cancer chemotherapy or surgery. The drug may be directly administered into a vein in 30 seconds, or it may be mixed with IV fluid and administered into a vein in 5 minutes.
