I am 24 year old I am suffering from baldness and alopecia please refer useful treatment.
Alopecia is of different types so you have to be precise that it is of what form. There is home remedy for only alopecia areata which is localised and that is rubbing garlic juice but it also causes irritation in few patients. If its alopecia totalis or Alopecia Universalis than you should share your images with me and I will help you out in improving your condition. For results your can check my profile online.

Hair fall can occur due to many reasons like stress, chemical damage, nutritional deficiency, environmental factors etc. We need to access the exact reason to start treatment. Home remedy. Take 100 ml coconut oil boil 2-4 pcs of amla fruit n 8-10 curry leaves in that oil till fruit n leaves turn black. Filter and strain. Massage it on scalp with finger tips gently. Wash hair next morning with curd mixed with besan. In ready to use you can start using rishi grow hair oil at bed time & wash with robin plus herbal shampoo. Use clean oil if dandruff is the reason as this oil treats it in just two applications along with reducing itching. Internal ayurvedic medicines if required will be provided after studying your bodily constitution as per ayurveda. Do it for two months and your hair fall will reduce to normal. As it's a very slow process so you can't see results in a week. Eat more of green leafy veggies and fresh seasonal fruits. Take amla powder or amla murabba/ carrot murabba twice daily. Use neem wood comb for managing hair and this should be changed regularly. Reduce your stress by yoga and meditation. Add some coconut daily in your diet. Keep water in copper vessel overnight and drink in the morning empty stomach. Avoid chinese foods and foodstuffs packed in plastics. Avoid white flour (maida), excessive salt and spices. Let me know after it and I will advise accordingly.

Improve Loss Of Libido In Menopause

Improve Loss Of Libido In Menopause

Menopause automatically brings about a dip in testosterone and estrogen levels in a woman’s body. It leads to certain changes in the body and also reduces libido. A drop in libido means that sexual arousal becomes a cause of concern. This can bring in certain problems in your sexual/conjugal life. Lower estrogen levels reduce supply of blood to the vagina, thus resulting in lubrication problems. A dry vagina during sexual intercourse can lead you to experience pain during sex.

There are some other factors that can affect a woman’s libido after menopause:
1. Problems in sleep
2. Anxiety and depression
3. Problems of the bladder
4. Certain medications
5. High stress levels

To remedy lubrication problems, use water soluble lubricants to lubricate your vagina. Avoid using non-water soluble products such as petroleum jelly as it can weaken the latex. Non water soluble lubricants are also known to aggravate bacterial vaginosis. You may also use vaginal moisturizers to address the issue. There are oral medications that are available, which cause the tissues of the vagina to thicken, thus causing less pain during sex.

Improving your libido
You can opt for estrogen therapy to reduce pain during sex as this therapy helps in vaginal lubrication. The main objective of estrogen therapy (Hormone Replacement Therapy) is to ease the discomforts associated with a deficiency of estrogen secretion in the body. You should consult a professional who will be able to guide and counsel you.

Certain other measures to rev up your libido have been listed below:

Indulge in foreplay: Try and include activities such as oral sex and erotic massages in your agenda. Experimentation with foreplay can help spice things up between you and your partner.
Try out new things: Change your sex poses, read erotic books or watch erotic videos as these may help in boosting your libido.
Bear in mind that menopause does not prevent STDs; you still need to take proper precautions before engaging in sexual intercourse. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult our Experts

PCOS and HAIR lOSS

MD- Ayurvedic Pathology
Ayurveda, Amritsar

PCOS, also known as the Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome is a condition that affects women of reproductive age (usually between 12-45 years). True to its name, PCOS is a hormonal disorder characterized by the formation of cysts in the ovary (one or both the ovaries). Androgen, the male sex hormone is produced in small amounts by the ovary. In PCOS, there is an increased production of androgens. The levels of estrogen and progesterone (female sex hormones) also undergo alteration. All these hormonal imbalance affects the functioning of the ovary as well as the ovulation process (the eggs either don't mature or are not released from the ovary).

PCOS and Hair Loss
In the case of PCOS, in addition to the menstrual and fertility problem, many females also suffer from severe hair loss.

There are three phases in a hair growth cycle-

Anagen, a phase where active hair growth takes place.
Catagen, a phase indicative of the transitional growth of hair.
Telogen or the resting phase characterized by shedding of hair.
In PCOS, there is an increased production of androgen or testosterone. The testosterone then gets converted to another hormone called the Dihydrotestosterone (DHT). The DHT thus formed binds itself to the hair follicles. As a result of this, the hair follicles abruptly enters into the resting phase, characterized by hair loss. The DHT when it binds to the hair follicles is also known to affect the ability of the hair follicles to absorb the essential nutrients. The PCOS left untreated, this process gets repeated in each hair growth cycle with increased hair loss and hair thinning. The hair regrowth and regeneration also slows down, a condition termed as Androgenic Alopecia.

The PCOS also triggers an insulin resistance. As per a study by the University of Oulu in Finland, incidences of alopecia is higher in women with insulin resistance, resulting in hair loss.

Dietary Recommendation To Deal With PCOS-related Hair Loss
In PCOS, the DHT hormone binds to the hair follicle resulting in the hair loss. In addition to the medications and maintaining a healthy body weight, a proper diet can go a long way to reverse the damage, thereby controlling the hair loss. However, one needs to have patience as you cannot expect the diet to produce miraculous results within a day.

Enrich your diet with green leafy vegetables. High fiber vegetables can help to deal with insulin resistance to a great extent.
Lean proteins such as tofu, chicken, are healthy options.
Foods with low glycemic index (such as non-starchy vegetables, quite a few fruits, lentils, peas, legumes, barley, to name a few) work wonders in the case of PCOS and the associated symptoms. It also helps to deal with insulin resistance and high glucose levels, one of the factors responsible for hair loss.
The unhealthy foods options that should be avoided at all cost, include highly processed foods such as pastries, white bread, sugar, white potatoes.
Avoid foods rich in simple sugars or those with a high glycemic value.

Panchkarma Treatment For Back Pain

The backbone is made up of multiple small bones which are connected together by a softer bone. The spine is what allows important body movements including bending and walking. The issue is, with age, the backbone also loses its elasticity and becomes rigid. Though this is a natural process with ageing, lack of exercise and sedentary lifestyle makes it worse.

Lumbar spondylosis is the medical term for this chronic, degenerative condition of the lumbar and the sacral spines (the lower portion of the backbone). This leads to chronic stiffening of the spine, affecting movement. This joint is very crucial in all bending movements and spinal movements.

Causes of Lumbar Spondylosis:

Ageing: As the condition progresses, the nerves that run through the spines can get exposed and there could be pain and irritationGenetic abnormalities that produce a weak boneSpinal trauma like accident or fallsSedentary lifestyle: Sitting in front of the computer for prolonged hours also causes lumbar spondylosisOveruse: People who are weightlifters tend to put excessive pressure on the spine, causing lumbar spondylosis

Symptoms:

Stiffness and pain in the low back pain with continued sittingNumbness and tingling if nerves are getting affectedLoss of balance, leading to frequent falls losing control over bowel and bladder movementPain radiating to the lower legs

  • Ayurvedic remedies: This includes a combination of external applications, yoga, and food preparations including kashayas and tailas.
  • This condition is caused by increased Vata and Kapha. Shothhar kashayam like maharasnadi etc reduce these problems.
  • Pain and inflammation is relieved by the use of various Guggulu including Mahayogaraja Guggulu, Simhanada Guggulu, Trayodashang Guggulu.
  • The affected joints can be hydrated with the use of vasti treatment, Snehan, Abhyang, kati vasti, swedan as per the need.
  • Ashwagandha is known to lubricate the vertebral disks and joints.
  • External treatments like Abhyanga, lepa, alabu chikitsa are useful in improving joint movement.
  • They improve circulation and help in removal of toxins so that pure blood can flow and reduce inflammation.
  • Vasti: This helps in improving nutrition to the joints and bones, thereby helping them repair themselves and heal.

Yogas for lumbar spondylosis: The five most effective asanas are:

  • Ardhakati chakrasana
  • Padahastasana
  • Matsyasana
  • Ardhachakrasana
  • Vakrasana (sitting in a chair)

Additional measures:

  • Sit in a comfortable position with adequate back support.
  • Take short breaks to avoid continued sitting.
  • Sleep comfortably, by resting the back adequately.
  • Strengthen the back muscles by regular exercises.
  • Eat healthy, avoid junk, and drink plenty of water.
