dear lybrate user,There is no fixed regime to control sugar permanently. Because as you age the beta cell function gets deteriorated. You have to regularly check sugar levels I.e FBS,PPBS monthly & HbA1C once in 3 months.If you can reduce your Wt.matching to normal levels it will be easier to control your sugar levels.
