I am suffering from dry cough for the last 4 day and I have head pain whenever I cough hard. Can you suggest what should be done?

Just dry cough alone for 4 days should not be treated aggressively. If it persists then you should take tablets to suppress the cough if coughing is causing headache. If you had similar dry cough previously then it could be allergic cough for which the best treatment is as follows.
1 Get away from dust cold air kitchen fumes cigarettes smoke etc
2 Do not go out into cold dry weather.
3.take steam inhalation 4. Allergy tablets which contain Montelukast and levocetirizine can be taken one at bedtime after getting prescription from a doctor. Take for ten days and the allergic cough should be gone.
5. I would suggest you wait for one week.

Coughing excessive can cause headache due to increased intracranial pressure. Saline gargles .steam inhalation avoid cold and sour foods. No relief then xray chest, cbc esr to r/o lung cause.

Take 1 tsf of Yastimadhu churna with honey thrice daily for 8 -10 days and Swasatone Lehya 1 tsf followed by milk twice daily. Khadiradi Vati 1 tab. Can be chewed 3 – 4 times a day to get relief from throat irritation.
