I had considerable left cheek swelling and reduced mouth opening from last two weeks. The doctor prescribed antibiotics and painkiller thinking its because of wisdom tooth problem. After taking the medicines for 1 week, swelling and pain almost vanished. And its not because of tooth problem as there is no pain or swelling near tooth area. I continued taking antibiotics thinking to stop it only when complete mouth opening is restored. Now it been 2 weeks and still mouth opening is not 100% but progressing day by day. When should I stop taking antibiotics? I am taking cipmox 500, twice in a day.
