This is about my 4 year old son. He generally refuses to eat food. I have tried coaxing him, threatening him, pleading with him and all possible ways to make him eat. But he just refuses to eat his food completely. His daily diet consists of few biscuits and half-cup milk in the morning, around 10 morsels of rice-daal and vegetable in afternoon, 3-4 biscuits in evening along with half-cup milk, and again around 15 morsels in the dinner time. His weight is just 12 kg and I am getting worried about whether he has a bigger problem. His motions are generally clear but once a month he complains of stomach pain but that goes away after taking colicaid. Please advise on whether I need to consult a dietician or gastrologist for my son since he is generally week-looking though he plays around quite a lot.

Some children are basically thin built but still it's better to consult a paediatrician and get him checked clinically atleast once to rule out any pathology and for eating try to make different food items making them more interesting according to children's choice yiu can look for recipes on line and make him sit with youor his pear group to get him interested in food.
