Rashmi parasher age 38 I am suffering from severe abdominal pain since last 2 year.in 2020 ultrasound was done 2 mm gb polyp was found. In 2021, endoscopy was done and I was diagnosed with h. Pylori infection. Now my doctor ordered for colonoscopy. I want to know what is colonoscopy and what kind of diseases can be diagnosed by it. Is it a difficult and painful procedure?

Hello lybrate-user. Colonoscopy can identify dieseases like large intestine polyps, ulcers, tumors etc. It is not mostly too difficult or painful procedure either.
