My father have urinary tract infection. The local chc doctor prescribed meftal spas tablet. Is it good for urinary tract infection or not.

It is just for cholicy pain and nothing else. U need an antibiotic and some test to check for complicated uti or not and drink plenty of water with lemon this will also help. If you want to knw more you can take an appointment. Take care and have a nice day.

No way it's for pain to decrease in uti. Plenty of liquids 2.5-3ltrs. Urispas two times a day after food for five days or as required. Levoflox 500 one per day for five days. Citralka liquids 10 ml with half glass of water after food three times a day. Best choose a urologist as he may require usg to measure prostate gland which is usually enlarge in elderly male.
