My throat just started feeling swollen/tight when I swallow. I don't have pain at all and looking at my throat in the mirror I don't see any swelling or white spots. It just feels like my throat is smaller/swollen.

I am sorry to hear about your concern but will be happy to assist you. While tightness in the throat can be a result of other conditions like strep throat, sinus infections, or allergic reactions, an esophageal stricture is usually caused by chemicals such as stomach acid burning the esophagus. Gerd and acid reflux diseases are the most common culprit for esophageal strictures. Let's connect over a call so that we can discuss your concern in details and make a suitable treatment plan for you.
