How painful is root canal process? what precautions to be taken pre and post process

Its not a painful procedure. Once the anaesthesia is given you wont be able to appreciate any sensation in area which is anaesthetised. Get it done from experienced dentist. There is no such precaution, take your medicine properly which is important for successful therapy.

Hello. Root canal treatment is a painless procedure. It can be done in single sitting or in some cases 3 to 4 sittings are needed. That depends on severity of infection. Normally we ask patients not to bite any hard food during the procedure. As tooth may get fracture. But once the crown is placed on rct treatment tooth. You can take normal food.
