My father is 49 years old and had taken covishield vaccine 1st dose and then my father get reaction. He get aches and hives all over body, so I want to ask you does it safe to take the 2nd dose of vaccine.

Dear lybrate-user, no he has had an allergic reaction to the vaccine. It is not advisable that he goes for the second dose. The reaction might be even worse the next time hence it is better he avoids the next dose. Good luck.
