My brother is having fever 101 102 degree since 4 days no other symptoms he is on standard medicine rt pcr reports are awaited! I want to understand from doctors as when and how fabiflu is indicated? When it had to be taken in what dosage and can it be taken along with ongoing standard medication? Please help. It will be really kind thanks (concerned sister)

Dear user, fabiflu is an antiviral which destroys viruses and is indicated in a viral infection. It will not be of any use in a bacterial infection. That has to be taken only when the rtpcr shows positive for covid, and it has to be administered in a hospital setting. Good luck.

For mild cases, home treatment first day one dose (8 tablets) whenever started next does (8 tablets) 12 hours apart considered the day start from 9 am, next day 4 tab mrng 4 tab evening till all 4 boxes gets empty yes can be taken with standard medicine.
