I am having recurrent urinary tract infection. I have got my urine culture done and taken antibiotics course many times. Actually, I am trying to conceive, so what I have noticed is that after 4-5 days of intercourse, I get this infection back. When I checked with my gynaecologist, she said it is your infection only, nothing related to your husband. Can anyone tell me why it is happening only after frequent intercourse, otherwise I remain perfectly fine? Does my husband need to undergo any test? Please tell me.

It is necessary to rule out source of infection. Yes your husband should go for tests like urine r/m, urine culture and sensitivity, and penial swab culture and sensitivity.
