My son is 7 years old weight 17. 4 kgs. He is having severe paraumbilical pain for 3 days now. The pain worsens after eating even small meals. Xray abdomen supine has done. Doctor said he has a loaded colon and also has multiple anal fissures with sphincter spasm. He prescribed him anobliss cream. Laxopeg and pantoprazole 20 mg. Also enema daily for 7 days. My question is that why he is having so much belly pain. Even after decolic he is still so much in pain. What I can do to relive his pain.

Children are oftem victim of chronic habitual constipation which might have caused the onset of pain ( due to distended colon loaded with faeces) .once he passes stool , he will get relief. Apart from the prescribed treatment, I will suggest you to give him Glycerine suppository which will clear his stool immediately.thanks.
