I am 27 years old and I have erectile dysfunction for over4 years and I went to see a urologist recently and he said I had left sided varicocele and because of it I had microlithiasis and imbalanced hormones. Elevated level of estradiol of about 60, increased fsg, and increased progesterone levels, testosterone was 19 he said I need to have surgery and so a few days later I underwent a laparoscopic varicocelectomy. I noticed after the surgery that I had increased blood flow to my penis and I started having little erections, as a result of this I masturbated on the 4th day after surgery and then 3 days after that again. I noticed I began to feel pains in my left scrotum after this but there was no swelling of the scrotum, it was mostly at the epidydymal region when I palpated the scrotum and I started having feelings of spasms or contractions under between my scrotal-anal region anytime I did a valsalva maneuver on exhalation after squeezing my pelvic floor muscles for a few seconds. It felt as if there was backflow of blood. And now i?m feeling as I felt before the surgery, no erections. Please tell me what your opinion is about this, did I mess up the surgery by masturbating too early and when can I start having sex, because I was recommended to see an endocrinologist after the surgery?

Hello- you are suffering due your poor health decisions. Varicocele occurs due to exhaustive reasons of scrotum. Pain in penis and weak erection supports my assertion. Cutting the affecting part by surgery is not an option as you will develop varicocele again. The choice of treatment must be correcting the nourishment channel of the scrotum and the testicles thus correcting the varicocele permanently. It is best for you to consult an ayurveda specialist this time for a holistic treatment approach.
