Greetings! it is contains antiallergic, mucolytic agents and expectorants, basically for cough/cold/sore throat. So it aims to relieve of cough that is allergic in origin. It also helps to relive symptoms such as stuffy nose/congestion. However you should take a doctor's opinion as to whether to take the cough syrup alone or in combination with other medications.
