Hello doctor, I am 30 years old, weight 78, Height 5'1 have pcod with bilateral polycystic ovary as shown from my ultrasound. I have hair suitism also in few areas. Doctor prescribed DIANE 35, MELMET500. I had severe unexplained pain (side effect) by taking DIANE 35. MY doctor told me to stop all n take psychiatric treatment for anxiety n depression. I don't understand why? I informed him about my health n changing condition after medicine reaction. Is that my fault? I am Normal. I have a baby. I only want to reduce my weight which is tough task with pcod. So I need treatment with correct medication. I DONT HAVE THYROID. Please guide me. Is any other medication like homeopathy is helpful apart from allopathy.

Diane-35 should not be the cause of pain neither should PCO in itself. I would advice you to change the pill to Novelon and see if that makes a difference . If not you need to see a Gynaecologist again.
