I am 30 weeks pregnant. I have shifted to another city. I had been a history of pcos before pregnancy. My doctor has been keeping me on glysyphase 500 mg through out. Now the new doctor has asked me to stop taking glyciphage 500 mg as it might affect the baby. Is it suggested change at this point of time. Also, how safe is to take insulins at this point of time.

Insulin is the accepted treatment for high blood sugar in pregnancy. You can consult a diabetologist if you like. But there is no harm in shifting to insulin in this phase.
