I have dry itchy scaly white patches on scalp. Is it psoriasis or a topic dermatitis. The patches are not red and are irregular in shape and spread across scalp. They are severe during winter. It is also behind my ears. These patches are crusty and little raised but not much. If I scratch them it does not bleed. One of the doctor who is md told me its a topic dermatitis.

It can be because of dermatitis/ eczema or allergy or dryness or fungal infection or psoaiasis etc. I need details of case n preferably pics of affected area.
