My husband is 39 years old and we know 8 years back there is hepatitis b-virus in his blood. I am vaccinated and delivered 2 children after that. Now he do not have any symptom and liver function tests are normal. What can I do to minimize liver damage and what do you advise in general.

Hepatitis b is an infection of liver. It can cause scarring of the organ, liver failure, and cancer. It's spread when people come in contact with the blood, open sores, or body fluids of someone who has the hepatitis b virus. It's serious, but if you get the disease as an adult, it shouldn't last a long time. Let's have a detailed discussion to ensure proper treatment.
