I would not recommend that you take any medication without a doctor's consent. I would be concerned about any adverse events that would occur with the medication including allergic reactions. There could be a drug interaction with the foods or medications that you take already. You may have symptoms or a genetic makeup that will make taking the medication problematic, another term for this is a contraindication. Some of these reactions could be limited and bothersome, some could be deadly. It is more prudent to only take prescribed medication that your provider prescribes for you.
