Bupivacaine is a medicine used to decrease feeling in a specific area. We can use it by injecting around a nerve. It starts working within 15 minutes and lasts upto 2 hours to 8 hours. It has side effects also which includes sleepiness, ringing in the ears, low blood pressure, changes in the vision and an irregular heart rate. It is one of the most effective and safe medicines needed in the health system and World Health Organization also added this medicine in the list of essential medicines. The cost of this medicine is not very high and is a generic medicine. To measure the level of allergic skin reaction in the skin, the technician takes the sample and then Allergy Bupivacaine test is performed. This test is necessary to confirm allergy on the skin.

No special preparation is to be done from patient’s side. However, a consent form explaining the procedure and risks should be signed by patient or his relative. The technicians will do the proper measurement of blood pressure, pulse, respiration and electrocardiogram. A complete emergency kit including oxygen with positive pressure ventilation capabilities should be available at the time of examination. The patient should never be left unattended. Monitoring of vital signs and verbal communication is very important.

Bupivacaine is used as a local anaesthesia. Bupivacaine is given as an injection at spinal area so that the patient unable to feel anything. I is done at the time of labor or surgery. For dental procedures, Bupivacaine is used as an anesthetic.

Allergy Bupivacaine Enzyme Assay Skin is done using Enzyme Assay method on a Skin sample. An enzyme reaction can be observed by the appearance/disappearance of a coloured compound so that it can be observed by eye. An appropriate instrument like calorimeter or a photometer must be applied to determine the colour density. Due to easy handling against disturbances, photometric assays are applied.

If an enzyme reaction cannot be observed through photometer, other optical methods can be used like fluorimetry. Fluorimetry is more sensitive than absorbance measurements which can absorb light of particular wavelength. Few enzymatic substances can emit fluorescence such as NADH. Spectrofluorometers handling is very complicated due to which sources of errors are also large. A large experience is needed for spectrofluorometers. The above mentioned methods are time dependent. This is important for the determination of reaction velocity and for evaluating the enzyme activity.
