I am 63 years old. I got my 3 tooth removed from left upper jaw towards ear leaving one teeth in the end. I am unable to chew in the left jaw. Sometimes I get ache in the left side head near ear. Is that pain because of not chewing in the left side?

You have removed 3 tooth from left upper jaw towards ear leaving one teeth in the end. The temporomandibular joint, or tmj, is the ?hinge? of your jaw that sits directly below your ears. You might get tmj pain from grinding your teeth, or it could be a symptom of arthritis. The ache in your ears or face comes after you chew, talk, or yawn or it may be possible some other reasons also so let?s have a detailed discussion over it, post that i?ll be able to figure out the exact reason of your problem and then we?ll be proceeding for the most effective treatment plan.
