Hi, I had a laparoscopy for endometriosis 18 days before. I am having some burning pain at my lower belly and pulled muscle close to the stitch area. Pain was little ok but now again it feels more. I am taking painkiller 2 times in a day pain is felt more while walking. I did take some Ayurveda medicine for pain felt little better now since 2 days, pain is there close to the stitch area feels like pulled muscle. I am suppose to take some multi vitamin for 1 months and antibiotic for 10 days, which course is over. I was also given lupride injection 1 week after surgery. When I was 6 months old I was operated for hernia I need to know when will the pain completely go and why is this burning pain, even when my clothes touch the belly it feels tender and sore, while sitting and lying down pain is less but while walking it feels more. I am also asked to take neurobion tablet painkillers are only suppressing the pain for 4 to 5 hours when will I be pain free. Please reply.

The pain may be due to various factor. If the ports were closed at facial level, there may be mild pain till the underlying stitches get absorbed to the body. Also hyperasthesia ( increased sensitivity) at the port sites is sometimes very uncomfortable without any apparent problem inside. you should give at least 6 weeks time to body to recover from the surgical trauma.
