The latest prescription for depression/anxiety reads as follows:- a) zosert 100 mg 1-0-0. Zosert 50 mg 1-0-0. B) trazalon 50 mg 0-0-1. My doubt (or as a second opinion) is a) whether both of them belong to the same class ssris? B) can these two be combined together? If yes, how safe it is? You are on zosert 150 mg in the morning and trazalon 50 mg at night. To answer your first question both those medications are not the same class of mood elevators or anxiolytics. They can certainly be combined together and it is quite safe to do so, since the risk of any drug interactions between the two are very low. We hope this information helps.
