Persistent sore throat for 1.5 months. To amoxylin 3 times a day for 6 days. Now taking pentid 800, 2 times a day for the last 12 days (doctor consulted). Yesterday while having bread, I guess I cut the inside of the throat, it pains a bit when I swallow. I smoke one cigarette a day and use smokeless chewing tobacco also. Why is this sore throat so persistent?

The sore throat can be the result of smoking even one and smokeless cigarettes and being smokeless will not make them safe
