My dad has been diagnosed with pneumonia and the organism is klebsiella pneumoniae. He is aged 59 yrs. What are the dietary care best suited for this type of pneumonia? What symptoms should we consider to know its getting worse. We have had ine xray done another is due next week. He is currently on cefuroxime twice a day. Kindly advice. We are very anxious.

If increase in cough, expectoration and fever and no improvement n xray and tlc then your antibiotic is not responding. Can take fruits and green vegitable. Avoid cold foods.
