Hi my age is 27 years. Last January I had jaundice and cause was hepatitis b. I had taken treatment for that and its been since one year. I stopped drinking alcohol from that onwards. Now being since 1 year am I able to drink alcohol or it would affect my liver. And hepatitis b is positive but inactive.

Dear lybrateuser, - It is advisable not to drink alcohol as your liver is already weak because of hep B, alcohol affects the liver metabolism in a harmful way - avoid alcohol to strengthen the liver & to boost your immunity otherwise the Hepatitis virus may relapse.
