Hi, One of my neighbors got bitten by a dog 9 years back. She had not treated with any vaccinations at the time of bite but now she is worried about the Rabies. Though the bite was minor. What should be the ideal treatment?

For a dog bite 9 years ago there is no need of any treatment Do you know if the dog that bit you is still alive? Or if it was alive at least 10 days after you were bit? Rabies is only transmissible in saliva during the final stage of the disease, for the 10 days (approx) prior to the death of the animal. If the dog was still alive then, even if it had rabies, there?s basically no chance you would have contracted it through a bite.
