I was "diagnosed" as having Chlamydia by a blood test. It has always been my understanding that a urine or swab test is the only way to determine if someone has Chlamydia. Am I correct?

Hello, you may have undergone a blood culture test and if the chlamydia is streaming in the blood in cases of chronic infection systemic infection in immunocompromised people, then it can very well be detected in blood as well. Regards.
