I get alternate diarrhea and constipation which I am told is because of IBS. I am suffering from it since last 30 years. The only medicine which relieves me is Enteroquinol. But I do not take it continuously since it is banned drug though freely available. I want to know is there an alternate drug I can use. Secondly, since enteroquinol relieves my symptoms, what is daily dosage and duration recommended. Can I take it everyday for extended period of time say three or six months and how many tablets per day.
