I am 26 years old and I have pcod problem. Trying for a baby. I took siphene 100 mg for last 2cycles with help of follicular study but no success so now doc prescribed letroz 5 mg from 3-7 day of my cycle. This cycle I dint do follicular study due to some personal works. If hcg trigger is necessary to pregnant or there is any chance to get pregnant in this cycle.

HCG trigger is required for rupture of follicle and release of eggs. So if you are D-14,15 of cycle get a folliculometry done to see if follicle has ruptured or not. If it has not ruptured you can take HCG injection now. Your chances of pregnancy depends on many factors like proper growth of follicle, it’s rupture, condition of tubes n uterus and husbands semen parameter.
