Dear Lybrateuser, Shortness of breath or Fatigue on ADL (Activities of Daily Living) may be symptom of Chest or Heart Disease. Since the Cardiologist has cleared all cardiac issues, it would be advisable to visit a Pulmonologist and get a PFT Test (Pulmonary Function Test) to asses functioning condition of Lungs. Wishing your mother a speedy recovery.
