My Right vocal was paralyzed after the post operative of a tumor diagnosis three month before. Now I have beard horse voice and difficulty in swallow and cough due to irritation in throat. M continue to speech therapy but results are not satisfactory. Should I go for medializtion thyroplasty or injection layrngoplasty. Which is best options from both is there any other option to correct voice and issues I? either I have to wait for some time? A perfect consultation will be highly appreciated and thankfully fir that. Please advise.

Both procedures correct the voice aswell as improve the aspiration. Medialisation thyroplasty is the gold standard and one time treatment but needs to be done in operation theatre under anasthesia. Injection laryngoplasty is a OPD procedure where we can inject tissue fillers. But may require repeated procedures, as the fillers get absorbed over time.
