My left hand is shaking very much when I take anything like cup of tea but right hand not very much. I am 67. Any good tablets or any other suggestions.

Hello. What you are experiencing are intention tremors. At your age the chances of parkinsonism are high. The added features that you should look for in parkinsonism are rigidity in movements, expressionless face and difficulty in stopping while walking. Age related neurodegeneration of the cerebellum can also the exact same symptoms you described. Drug treatments are helpful though 100% cure is not possible. Hi, it would not be appropriate to prescribe medicines with out knowing the exact cause behind your issues. First and foremost, I would advise you to consult a neuro physician at the earliest. He/ she shall be able to clinically examine you and diagnose the problem appropriately. In the meantime, however, you should keep up your diet and lifestyle with due room for regular exercise/ walking, relaxation and de-stressing. Focus on more of leafy greens, fresh fruits et al and stay hydrated. It is advisable to restrict intake of tea, coffee, sweets, salt, greasy, oily and fatty foods including fast foods. Alcohol and smoking, if any, be best avoided too.
