Dear lybrateuser, - To build your body & to gain strength you have to have a well balanced diet with more of protein rich foods& healthy fats - have more of fruits, vegetables including green leafy ones, whole grains like whole wheat, brown rice,oats, corn quinoa, instead of refined ones, protein rich foods like eggs, non veg, milk & milk products like cheese, cottage cheese, yogurt, butter milk, soya products, tofu, beans, lentils, pulses, peas, sprouts, nuts such as almonds, walnuts, pista, cashews, peanuts, seeds such as sesame, flax, healthy fats like in seafood, olive, canola, sunflower oil, walnuts, avocado - include a protein rich food in each of your meals & have as a snack - for the exact requirement of calorie & protein per day as per your activity & constitution consult a dietician on forum.
