I have been advised to have chitrakadivati ayurvedic medicine 2 tabs before meal twice a day. I am suffering from heavy anxiety issue n IBS like problem with multiple motion with mucous in it. I am also given clonazepam .25. Is this ayurvedic medicine enough or right for IBS or not. Rest is IBS with mucous can be treated permanently or not as I am suffering from it since 10 12 years every on and off. Please tell me some permanent solution I am tensed always because of this IBS like situation and sudden urge to use toilet in morning or before traveling etc.

Chitrakadi Vati as such in your case is not suitable. You should go through following regimen: 1. Avoid Milk, Ghee, Butter and oily food. 2. Use of buttermilk at least thrice a day after meals. 3. Take Bilwa Powder (Wood apple powder) 1 tea spoon thrice a day. 4. Take Jatiphaladi Churna 1 tea spoon thrice a day. Rest of the medicines can be given only after clinical examination. Your problem can be easily treated by specialized Ayurvedic formulations..
