White jaundice is the old term used for jaundice. Jaundice occurs due to build-up of bilirubin which turns skin yellow. Can happen from biliary problem (liver, gall bladder, pancreas disease) or bursting red blood cells (hemolytic anemia). Sometimes, first sign of jaundice is scleral icterus (yellowing of WHITES OF EYE). SYMPTOMS of jaundice commonly include: Yellow skin and the white part of the eyes (sclera) -- when jaundice is more severe, these areas may look brown Yellow color inside the mouth Dark or brown-colored urine Pale or clay-colored stools FOR MORE DETAILS CONTACT a good homeopath.
