Weight of mother will gradually increase during pregnancy. If mother 's weight is less and body physical constitution is lean, then do not expect much weight gaining. However if timely ante natal check up is found good and nothing abnormally detected, you can assure in good health for mother and baby. If mere weight is less with all conditions ruled out, then prefer rich balanced food.
