Vulvitis is a health issue, which refers to the inflammation of the soft folds of skin forming the external part of a woman's genitalia. Usually the inflammation is caused by allergic reactions, infections and injuries. The common symptoms include vulvar discharge, burning in the vulvar area, blisters on the vulva and redness and swelling of the vulva and labia. Diagnostic tools such as blood tests, urinalysis etc. are used in diagnosing vulvitis.
