You should avoid sugars, solid fats, fruit juices or cold drinks, refined cereals like maida if you have diabetes. Don't have too much of rice and suji, fruits like banana, chickoo, litchi, grapes and mangoes and vegetables like aloo, arbi etc

If your having thyroid your weight loss will be slow. For this you should do daily walking for at least 45 minutes. Have your meals 5-6 times a day which is low in carbohydrate like roti, brown rice, salads. Stop having raw cabbage, soy and soya product and do not have anything to eat for half an hour after taking your thyroid medicine.
