Rather than depression it is probably your inability to deal with the stress of studies that is making you vulnerable.
It is advisable that you start developing healthy ways of stress relief and improving concentration.
You may start with relaxation exercises like yoga, meditation, deep breathing exercises etc. To improve concentration and relieve stress soon you may take help of some medications but only under the supervision of a psychiatrist.

If you are not gainfully employed (and I don't mean monetarily), then you could easily feel depressed. So even at home organize your day with engaging activities that will make a difference for the others comfort. Apart from doing for others, you must also do things for yourself. If you remain too much at home boredom and laziness could also creep in.
