-The pain could be due to constipation & improper evacuation of bowel
- have plenty of oral fluids including 2-3 litres of water per day for proper hydration and digestion
- have more of fibre rich foods such as fruits, vegetables, wholegrains instead of refined ones, beans, lentils, pulses, sprouts, peas, nuts
- mix a tablespoon of isabgol powder in a glass of warm water and have it one hour before bedtime at night for proper motion

1. Eat high fiber diet like fruits, vegetables, beans, boiled/sprouted moong dal, whole grain rice, whole wheat pasta, whole meal breads, oats.
2. Avoid foods which are high in fat. Choose lean meats like fish, chicken.
3. Eat on schedule
4. Drink plenty of water, 8-10 glasses daily, avoid alcohol/caffeine
5. Take regular physical exercise
6. Stick to a regular timing for going to toilet.
7. Syrup duphalac 15 ml twice daily.

Hi,
Take tab. Triphala 1-2 tab. at night with hot water to get good bowel movements in the morning. Take tab. Avipattikara 1 tab 3 times a day and Gasino syrup 2 tsf 3 times a day. Consume high fiber diet and eat in small quantities frequently. Avoid hot and spicy food, oil fried food and non veg food.

Common causes of constipation Diet: low fiber and high fat food
Lack of exercises and physical activity
Sleep disturbance
Not adequately taking liquids.
Medications: Sleeping medicine, Pain killers, Antacids and Iron supplements
Should avoid late night sleep, drink Ginger tea it helps bowel movements.
