you need to understand the wisdom teeth eruption if hindered by adjacent teeth or gums will cause pain. The teeth causing pain most the times due to the tissue or gums overlying it .the removal of teeth is the best option as in some cases it relives the unwanted pressure on the adjacent teeth causing decay. Wisdom tooth removal should always to be done after a opg scan (x ray). I hope this helps.

Oral & maxillofacial surgeon will need more investigations (full mouth x-ray) with clinical examination to decide upon treatment. Adv. Medication, cleaning, root canal treatment or surgical removal procedures for the gum mucosa above the tooth or the tooth itself. Until then apply clove oil. Rinse frequently with mouth wash.

Wisdom teeth usually make their appearance between the ages of 17 and 21, though it's possible for them to push through earlier or later.
