Yesterday night onwards, I am experiencing pain on my left jaw under the left ear. It started experiencing slowly and when I started to press the wisdom teeth area (the last tooth area) outside mouth and below the left ear, the joint area outside mouth I am experiencing the pain. Also when pressing the last tooth area from inside also I am experiencing the pain. What could be the reason? I started to do oil pulling for the past 1 week. I brush my teeth with baking soda only.

Hi there, it can be due to partial eruption of the third molar. Please stop using baking soda for brushing, instead use a tooth paste and brush twice. Do warm saline rinses. Clean the wisdom tooth area thoroughly. If not relieved, kindly revert.

Xray of wisdom tooth area for cause of pain. Rx:- tab o2 twice daily for 5 days after meals tab zerodol sp twice daily for 5 days after meals tab rablet d once daily for 5 days before meals warm saline rinses between meals apply colgate pain out gel or clove oil on affected area thrice daily for 7 days ?if patient is alcoholic or has consumed same within 15 days do not take o2 as it has life threatening reaction instead take moxikind cv.
