Protein suppl will not help unless you correct your overall food intake. To reduce weight avoid eating outside & packed food. Eat healthy natural food like fruits, vegetables, sprouts, nuts & seeds. Have lower intake of sugar, oil, salt & maida. Do 30 mins of exercise in morning.

Firstly it is important to understand that weight /fat loss involves sensible eating.
You have to eat the right foods at the right time.
Eat small but frequent meals.
Reduce your main meals by 1/4th the amount. Take a glass of lime water 10minutes before meals.
Avoid long gaps in between meals.

Eat something like a banana (if you are not diabetic) or any seasonal fruit or soaked almonds and a glass of water first thing in the morning (within 10 mins of waking up). To start with avoid simple sugars as far as possible like sugar, jaggery, honey, sweets, candies, chocolates, cold drinks etc. 'Eat Out' less, avoid junk and have good quantity of fresh foods which are not processed like fruits, vegetables, soups, salads, nuts, low fat milk, curd etc. Gradually, focus on higher protein intake, lower fat and restrict carbohydrates to high fibre foods only. Combine these dietary changes with 1 hour play/walk / exercise.
